Cafe Coffee Machine Servicing

Coffee machines for cafes come in two main versions, multi and single boiler. We’re able to fix issues in both styles of machines. The most common issue that we fix is blocked solenoids. This is caused by a lack of backflushing at the end of the day by the customer. Small amounts of coffee get caught in the solenoid, causing it to block. Our technicians will show you how to do preventative backflushing on your coffee machine when they attend your site. Another cause of solenoid blockage is scale build up. This can be addressed by using good quality water filters that get replaced regularly, and also by doing a descale on the machine. If these fail then we replace the solenoid valve.

Coffee machine heating elements also fail over time. If the machine won’t heat, or heats very slowly then this can be the issue. When a heating element fails it’s best to just replace it.

The keypads also wear out over a number of years. We carry many different keypads and can also contact parts suppliers to order new ones as needed.

Grinder Servicing

Blunt grinder blades produce coffee more slowly and also overheat the coffee grounds. You can taste the burnt coffee, which will cost you customers and profits. For a small cafe grinder blades can last up to 2 years, for a busy cafe they might need replacing every 6 months.
